NRV Sportsmen For Kids is a nonprofit located in Dublin VA. Our mission is to inspire the next generation through meaningful outdoor experiences, introducing children to the joys of hunting, fishing, and conservation. We are dedicated to nurturing a lifelong respect for nature, building character, and strengthening connections between youth and the great outdoors.

Each year, we host a variety of events and initiatives focused on supporting youth in our community:

• Annual Kids Fishing Day: We stock a local pond with 300 trout and invite kids to enjoy a day of fishing, skeet shooting, archery, and target shooting.

• Scholarships: We award five $1,000 scholarships annually to graduating seniors in the New River Valley.

• Youth Hunts: We organize a guided turkey and deer hunt for 3 to 5 youth (ages 10–15), providing everything they need—including clothing, ammunition, a firearm, and a mentor.

• Community Support: We proudly contribute to local children’s charities and youth sports programs every year.

To fund these efforts, we host an annual fall banquet, bringing our community together to raise money for these impactful programs.
