On April 25, 2025 NRV Sportsmen For Kids and Izaac Walton League of Christiansburg hosted Kids Fishing Day at Izaac Walton League of Christiansburg! We had over 250 children attend!

SWVA Bassin' was there to help teach the children how to fish. The children were able to catch up to 6 trout each. After they caught their limit, we had a cleaning station setup to fillet the fish for them to take home.

We also had an array of other activities setup for the children to participate in. We had archery, skeet shooting, target shooting with a .22 and a BB Gun station.

It was a truly wonderful day watching all the children have fun!
